Oak Grove Elementary STEAM Academy is an accredited K-5 public school in Cherokee County, Georgia. Oak Grove is located approximately 30 miles north of Atlanta in a rapidly growing suburban area in the southwest corner of Cherokee County. In 1935 Oak Grove opened its doors to students with approximately 100 students and four teachers. The original school structure consisted of four classrooms and an auditorium. Since 1958, there have been five classroom additions to Oak Grove including a gymnasium built solely by supporting parental funds. The most recent classroom addition was completed in 1993.
